A study shows that people who watch more than 5 hours a day of television greatly increase their risk of being overweight. The hypnotising effect of the small screen means you move... a LOT less. In addition to this, the food advertisements on TV look very tasty but are unfortunately often high in calories. These images, seen regularly, accustom our brain to the consumption of food - favouring weight gain. Finally, sitting in front of a series or a film encourages us to eat sweet or fatty products (cakes, crisps etc...) without being aware of the quantities we're eating. So, the best way to lose weight? Just turn off your television! So, rather than spending time on your sofa, head outside and burn some calories - this is how you lose weight!
